Emergency Referrals

It is sometimes possible to make an emergency referral (ie within a day or so) to see a Psychodynamic Reiki counsellor if this is considered appropriate. We tend to classify emergencies as suicidal talk or actions, decision--making about an unplanned pregnancy or crisis which would benefit from immediate counselling help. In some emergencies a medical referral may be more appropriate, depending on the circumstances.
